How to Play CCTV Rush Hour Casino — Complete Beginner's Guide
We walked into this game blind and figured it out in under 10 minutes. This guide covers everything we wish we'd known from round one — the interface, betting tiers, bonus features, and the mistakes to avoid.
Before You Start
Before you place a single bet, there are three things we think every new player should understand. We learned some of these the hard way.
Know What You're Playing
This is a live prediction game built by 155.io. Real surveillance cameras stream city intersections and motorways to your screen. An AI counts vehicles (or pedestrians) during each 55-second round, and you bet on the outcome. It's not a slot. It's not a crash game. The results come from real-world traffic, streamed via Dolby Millicast with sub-second latency.
That said — it's still a casino game. The house edge sits at 6.5-8.5% depending on your bet type. No amount of "reading the traffic" will eliminate that edge. We want to be upfront about that.
Set a Bankroll Before You Open the Game
We tested with a fixed bankroll of 50 rounds at minimum stake. That gave us plenty of runway to learn the interface without any pressure. Our recommendation: decide your session budget before you start, and stick to it.
At minimum stake (0.10), 50 rounds costs 5.00. That's enough to explore every bet type and see how the game flows.
What You'll Need
- An account at a casino that carries the game (1win, PIN-UP, or LuckyStar work — see our getting started page)
- A stable internet connection (the live stream requires consistent bandwidth)
- A funded account — minimum deposit varies by casino, but 10 is typical
- 5-10 minutes of uninterrupted time for your first session
Ready? Let's walk through your first 10 minutes.
Your First 10 Minutes
We've broken down the initial experience into five steps. Follow along and you'll be comfortable with the interface by the end.
Open the Game and Watch
Find the game in your casino's lobby (it's usually under "TV Games" or "155.io Games") and launch it. The first thing you'll see is a live camera feed taking up the centre of the screen.
Don't bet yet. We spent our first two rounds just watching. Pay attention to the detection zone — it's the highlighted area on the camera feed where the AI counts objects. Vehicles outside this zone don't count. Understanding the zone boundaries is the single most useful thing you can learn early on.
Learn the Interface Layout
The layout is straightforward once you know where to look:
- Top half: Live CCTV camera feed with the detection zone highlighted
- Centre: The round question — usually "How Many Vehicles?" with the countdown
- Bottom half: Four betting tiers (Under, Range, Over, Exact) with current multipliers
- Sidebar: Your balance, recent results, and bet history
The camera location rotates between rounds. We saw feeds from Lyon highways, San Marco plazas, and several other city locations during our test sessions. Each location has different traffic patterns — something that matters more once you move into strategy.
Set Your Stake
Below the betting panel you'll find the stake controls. Tap or click to set your wager amount.
- Minimum: 0.10
- Maximum: 500
- Quick-select buttons for common amounts
We started at the minimum and stayed there for the first 10-15 rounds. There's no advantage to betting more while you're still learning. The game mechanics are identical at every stake level.
Pick a Bet Type and Place Your Bet
Now the interesting part. You'll see four betting options, each with a different multiplier. Here's what they mean:
- Under (~3.0x) — You're betting the vehicle count will be below the threshold
- Range (~2.3x) — The count lands within a middle band
- Over (~3.6x) — The count exceeds the upper threshold
- Exact (up to 18x) — You predict the precise number
For your first bet, we recommend Range. It has the lowest multiplier (~2.3x) but the widest winning band, which means it hits more often. It's the best way to get a feel for how results land without waiting through a streak of losses.
Tap the tier you want, confirm the bet, and wait. You must place your bet before the countdown expires — once the timer reaches zero, betting closes for that round.
Watch the Round and Collect
Once betting closes, the AI counts objects in real time. You can watch it happen — vehicles crossing the detection zone are highlighted and tallied. The 55-second counting phase is genuinely engaging to watch.
When the timer hits zero, the final count appears on screen. If your bet was correct, winnings are credited to your balance instantly. If not, the stake is lost.
Check the game history panel to review the outcome. It shows the round ID, camera location, final count, and whether each of your bets won or lost. We found ourselves checking this panel frequently during our first sessions.
That's the core loop. Five steps, roughly 10 minutes. From here, you can repeat rounds with different bet types to see how the multipliers and hit rates compare. When you're ready to go deeper, our strategy guide covers pattern reading and bankroll management.
Bet Types at a Glance
Here's the full reference table. We measured these multipliers across 200+ rounds during our review — they fluctuate slightly between rounds, but the averages hold steady.
| Bet Type | Typical Multiplier | RTP | House Edge | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Under | ~3.0x | ~93.5% | ~6.5% | Beginners, low-variance sessions |
| Range | ~2.3x | ~93.5% | ~6.5% | Frequent hits, steady play |
| Over | ~3.6x | ~93.5% | ~6.5% | Slightly higher risk/reward |
| Exact | up to 18x | ~91.5% | ~8.5% | High-risk swings, experienced players |
A few things we noticed during testing:
- Range bets hit most often but pay the least. Over a long session, they keep your balance relatively stable.
- Exact bets are the long shots. We hit one in roughly every 15-20 rounds on average, but the 18x payout makes up for the dry spells — mathematically, at least.
- Under and Over sit in the middle. They're the workhorses of most sessions.
- You can bet on multiple tiers in the same round. Some players cover Range + Exact to hedge. That's covered in our strategy page.
Game Features Worth Knowing
Beyond the core betting loop, there are four features that affect gameplay. We ignored most of these in our first session and regretted it — especially the daily check-ins.
Lightning Rounds
Occasionally the game triggers a Lightning Round. These are shorter, faster rounds with boosted multipliers across all bet types. We found they happen roughly every 20-30 rounds, though the exact frequency varies.
The increased multipliers come with the same house edge — so they're not a trap, just faster-paced. If you enjoy the game's core mechanic, Lightning Rounds amplify it. Just be aware that the shorter timer means less time to observe the feed before betting.
Streak Multipliers
Win consecutive rounds and you'll trigger a streak multiplier. The bonus stacks on top of the base payout. We managed a 4-win streak during testing, which added a noticeable bump to the final payout.
Worth noting: chasing streaks by increasing your stake is a classic bankroll mistake. The streak bonus is a nice extra when it happens naturally, but it shouldn't change your betting behaviour. Stick to your session budget.
Daily Check-ins
Log in and claim your daily check-in reward. It's a small credit, but it adds up over a week. We didn't realise this existed until day three of our testing period. Don't make the same mistake.
The rewards escalate through consecutive days. Miss a day and the streak resets. It's a simple engagement mechanic, but free credits are free credits.
Player Leveling
Every bet earns XP. As you level up, you unlock cosmetic rewards and occasional gameplay bonuses. We reached level 3 during our testing period — nothing game-changing, but the progression gives sessions a sense of forward momentum.
The XP system is purely additive. It doesn't affect RTP, multipliers, or game outcomes in any way. Think of it as a loyalty wrapper around the core game.

Frequently Asked Questions
Each round lasts approximately 55 seconds. This includes the betting window, the live counting phase, and the result display. You can play roughly 60-65 rounds per hour, making it one of the faster-paced live casino games available.
The minimum stake is 0.10 per round. The maximum is 500. You can adjust your wager before each round using the stake controls below the betting panel. We recommend starting at minimum while learning the game.
Pick Winner bets (Under, Range, Over) return approximately 93.5% RTP with a house edge around 6.5%. Exact bets have a lower RTP of roughly 91.5% but offer payouts up to 18x. For beginners, we recommend starting with Range bets — they hit the most often and keep your balance stable while you learn.
Yes. The game is mobile-first by design and works in any modern mobile browser. Native apps for Android and iOS are also available through the partner casinos. The Dolby Millicast streaming delivers low-latency video on both Wi-Fi and mobile data. We tested on several devices and the experience was consistent across all of them.
Most partner casinos accept EUR, USD, and GBP for fiat deposits. Crypto deposits are also available — BTC, ETH, and USDT are the most common options. Check the specific casino's cashier page for the full list of supported payment methods.
No download is required. The game runs entirely in your browser via Dolby Millicast streaming. If you prefer a native app experience, Android and iOS apps are available through the partner casinos — but the browser version is functionally identical. See our getting started guide for setup instructions.
